blocking the door lock button which sends the electrical signal to my dashboard 2 avoid door beepin

    After an accident my 2015 Prius c front passenger door cannot be locked completely. So I need to apply pressure on the door frame post button which sends the electrical signal of unlocked door to my dashboard. I don't want to hear that high tone beeping. It is too distracting.

    pull off the interior doorpanel and see if disconnecting the wires helps

    The button isn't inside the door, it's in the body pillar where the door closes and pushes on it.

    You can just take the pillar trim off and disconnect the wiring from the button.
