Just got my new Gen 4 (photo in the Newbie forum). Tried to connect my old Sony Ericsson phone: it connects but won't allow calls to be made. Did a Googling and it points to the issue being the phone having an older version of Bluetooth (it also mentions this possibility in the Gen 4 manual). Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had the same problem. All other devices work fine - eg my ipad, my wife's phone. Looking on the bright side - good excuse to buy a new phone with wireless charging
