What are the Prius body panels are made of Unknown NYC driver left a gash in my rear quarter panel I can see bare metal which looks to me like aluminum? Is aluminum as easily repairable as steel? Will a regular body shop handle Prius or I should bring to my dealer? Thank you all in advance.eace:
the rear quarter panel is steel, the only parts that are aluminum are the hood and rear hatch. You can get the rear quarter repaired at any body shop. The bumpers are made out of some organic material.
