Very interesting.... I dismissed this initially as, yet another, ugly for the sake of being ugly BEV concept vehicle but it appears that Bollinger has some thinkers in it's design department. That makes it a "good looking" vehicle. It will be curious to see what they cost out the door, and whether or not it scales up enough to go down market.
Plug in aside, I always did like the boxy, utilitarian design philosophy for true SUVs. Like the fore mentioned Mercedes and early Land Rovers.
Impossible to say. They're just rounding the corner out of the development lab and into production analysis. The Chief Propaganda Officer says that the concept mule is 95-percent production......but there's a VERY LONG hallway from the design lab to the accounting office.......and you have to step over some regulatory hurtles along the way. I didn't notice things like air bags, mandated backup cameras, etc and I cringe when I think of what kind of crash test results might be hung on this aluminum box. And then there's insurance. Still....things like a spartan interior and all of those straight, flat panels will probably make the actual production costs cheaper than one might think.
