Both front doors sound hollow, bad latches?

    OK, just picked up and '07 and both doors have that hollow sound which has been reported here before. Dealer says it's the latch. Can I buy the latch online somewhere and replace them myself? Please post instructions or link to do so. thanks!

    It is the lack of sound proofing that causes the noise and is easy to fix.

    or you can buy the latch motor. it's a bit more work, but well worth it.(y)
