Has anyone gotten a recall notice from Toyota for the brake issue ? I have a 2010 Prius IV that I purchased last September, and I have yet to receive anything from my dealer or Toyota Love the car, however, in my opinion Toyota's customer support lacks the basics for customer concern and care By the way, my dealer is no better, he has never contacted me either Not happy...... You didn't like the answers you got the last time you posted this? Or are you going to post it in a different thread every day that you fail to receive a notice? http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...oting/78658-anyon-received-recall-toyota.html
Why not just call the Toyota service manager and provide your VIN to see if your car is on the recall list for the brakes? Or even check with www.alldata.com and enter your VIN? IMHO, it would be better to be proactive as a Prius car owner to determine the recall and TSB status with Toyota Service than to wait for Toyota corporate to send you a notice. I do this every time, starting when I purchase a car and then when I get an oil change. Notices can get lost in the mail, and your car purchase information can get scrambled from the dealer to corporate system where Toyota may not have the most current name and address concerning your VIN.
