No hud, blind spot monitor, and rear cross traffic alert when opting for the solar roof due to weight. Why can't Toyota let the customer decide that for themselves?

price drop and it's BIG 2017 Toyota Prius Plug-in DROPS in price just a week after UK prices announced
Toyota has modest ambitions for sales of the new Prius Plug-in: just 435 sales in the UK this year, most of which will go to fleet (company car) buyers. Given it’s not by any means a cheap car, starting at a lofty £32,395 (including the £2,500 government incentive), which pits it not far off the cost of an entry-level BMW 330e plug-in hybrid, this seems a fairly realistic prediction.
That's impressive. Considering NL increased the price at launch. We don't even have Canadian pricing yet.
Yup....but I'm hoping they won't start so high when they do. Already with the coming of Hyundai Ioniq and Kia Niro plug-in, this downward price trend is just the beginning. And since I'm due for a replacement in a couple of years I'm already vacillating between these 3 this early, lol.
Ditto. @PrinceD11 suggested the starting price is in the low $40s which seems a bit high imo. The regular Gen 4 is aggressively priced in Canada so I'm hoping the Prime continues that. Otherwise, Hyundai will put pressure on Toyota.
Warning to all residents of the UK. Do not drive your PRIUS to California, unprecedented rain has invaded most of the state. This is not your typical cold drizzle, but real rain, flooding type rain. No matter how desirous you may be to relive English weather in CA, I beg you, stay at home and experience the comfort of a pleasant English Day.
