Brown Fluid Leak Under Left Rear Door.

    I have a leak underneath the rear right passenger door. I see some type of pan underneath there but don't know what it is. Can someone please help identify what this could be? If this question is asked already I apologize, I couldn't find it in search. This is 2011 Hatchback.

    just a wag, could it be brake fluid? not sure if any other fluids go to the back.

    If it is "oily" it is most likely brake fluid. If not, have you removed everything from under the deck and looked for pooled water around the battery or under the spare tire?
