So, my brand new plug in was hit in the parking lot and whoever did it drove off.. THE CAR IS ONLY 2 weeks old!! ARGH!!

But, anyways, I went to the dealership just to find out how much a new rear bumper is and he was telling me that the part numbers are different between the Plug In and a regular prius. I went into the show room and stared at a Plug In and normal prius and could not see a difference.. Does anyone know the difference?

Also, noticed a few other difference:
    1. The Plug In has a blue tint inside the headlights!
    2. The front badge is one solid badge. The Plug In I was looking at was an Advanced package, so is that why it was different?
    3. Taillights are clear
    4. All the silver pieces on the front bumper, door handles and the rear. (this I actually don't like)
    5. The plug in badge in the inside. Where this badge is, looks completely different.

For #2, the solid front badge on the Advanced is for the DRCC (dynamic radar cruise control). The radar is behind that badge.

For a 2012 Prius, non PIP, the rear bumper cover is part number 52159-47905

    For a PiP, its 52159-47905

Its the same.. ask the parts guy to check again.
