I was going to treat my hounds to Dog Brew by Busch | All-Natural Bone Broth for Dogs But the stuff sold out in hours. Ah. none of them are 21 anyway. kris
We have three dogs and each got their monthly meds in a glob of cream cheese. But the long haired chihuahua was still scratching vigorously. Upon closer inspection, fleas. After Frontline, scratching all but disappeared. So far the other two are not scratching but I may do a preventative treatment. Bob Wilson
I was using Advantix and Frontline, but since I ended up with two long-haired dogs, have now gone to the chewable Nexgard. Expensive, but it works. Been thinking about ordering it from Uart's land down under (Aussie). Much cheaper, but a little leery.
Since give-or-take 1990 I give my dog(s) a seasonal bath and rinse them with "Skin-So-Soft" by Avon. It works like a charm repelling the invading critters. They smell good and feel soft too. Since give-or-take '96 I was showing my dogs in conformation too along with obedience. The SSS rinses made for a lot less baths.
meah ~ dogs will eat their own poo .... &/or their own vomit - not to mention any other animals' vomit or feces. Even the cheapest Costco dog food is healthy for them, unless they have some kind of medical issue. Sure, we get close to pets & want to to give them treats. No doubt. Others - feel dogs are just a utility. Our niece does dog training, hunting, obedience, snakes, Etc. She will remind us that dogs in the wild may easily go for over a day without eating, whereas many here in the US will start to panic if they think their dog is hungry for there 4 p.m. meal. Here at work - we have one of the Crusty old welders (and his wife) that sleep with their labrador retriever in-between them .... while others don't even let animals in the house. As for treats? I'll bet aluminum can dog treat broth would take distant 2nd place if the dish next to it had 2 day sitting outside slab of fish. .
Oregon is one of the numerous "family exception" states where minors may legally consume alcohol at home with a parent / guardian / spouse. So your underage hounds are fine.
My 9 years old half jack half chihuahua was starting to look not so spry lately. And tenuous when getting off the couch. Pondered it for a while and saw alot of good feedback about PetFlex pills on amazon. He's been on it now for about a month and an amazing difference. He takes off now at a full bore like he used to if he sees any squirrels. He had stopped doing that like he was sore. He gets his yearly check up and all his shots. I highly recommend if you have an elderly dog give it a try. Dog tax:
