Button Question

    Hi All,

    Just bought a JDM 2017 Prius V and have the English owners manual.

    There is a button next to the gear lever that isn't listed.
    Hoping someone knows what it does.

    Has a picture of a car with a speaker outside it and the word off with an orange LED.
    It doesn't appear to change anything when pressed except the led goes on or off.

    Google shows me pictures of the button, but not what it does.

    Any help would be muchly appreciated.

    It's to toggle the Vehicle Pedestrian Notification System (VPNS).

    Operates when the system is in EV mode, under 30 kph, or should, when toggled on. Speaker is under the hood behind the grille, down low.
