I give you - Germany's premier Nurburgrig race track - production street car record holder beating the 7minute barrier / smashing the prior street car record by nearly 1/4 minute . . . the 918 Spyder This AWD pig BLOWS AWAY - beats the 900+hp McLaren on Laguna seca, due to its combo ICE/EV motors / 900+ foot lbs of torque (wiping off drool) ... MSRP $845,000.00 a tad more than the i8 I woukd certainly say. oh! and did I forget to mention? The sypder's (nearly 7kWh pack)12 miles pure electric ! As much as the Gen 1 PiP and it's elegible for over $3k fed tax deduction. But - since this is a Volt thing, I'll say one good note in the read; Yea, one thing strange with Volt Rev1 was it was definitely a tad on the noisy side when the ICE was running ... as tho it was straining more than it should. So it's quieter ... and it's a lot less costly than the 918 spyder! .
