Dakota was a hard bird to beat but C-130 did it. I am impaired here by knowing C-130 drivers I can't talk about. Anyway, longest design run among military birds, heaviest ever to have made carrier landings. More not said besides. I fear to view video of this go-down.
News said that the Herc was a weather bird and was on her way to the boneyard.....literally. Nine souls on board. Details will emerge, but I'm not sure if these aircraft carry the same FDR/CVRs that commercial planes carry.
