Cabin Air Filter not lound vibration AC noise

I just changed out the CAF after 100k miles. This is what I found when I pulled it out. I bought the Prius used from a dealer with 20k miles. I know way too long, but still to grow seeds? Anyway, When I put the new one in and the air in Auto goes to full fan, I get a loud noise from the compressor. I don't know if it is because there is no restriction now through the filter. Not sure what to do to tune it down. Suggestions? Thanks.

 

I have no damage to the car. Just wanted to change the filter.

 

I'm wondering if one of these hickory nuts fell off when I pulled out the filter. Is there a way to pull the blower unit off to see if something fell into it?
