Just has the 20k miles service last week. I notice the replaced cabin filter is a piece of junk, it is so filmy (the sheet) and has only about half the petitions compare to the original filter. The original filter has a layer of "carbon" (or whatever that is), this new one none.

Wow sounds like the dealer is cutting the corners on Included Maintenance.

I hear you. I replaced mine. Genuine Toyota cabin filter and it is nothing like the original. I guess they had a mid stream engineering laps. The new replacement is a disappointment. I wonder what an after market cabin filter would look like? (( and they don't give them away $$$$ )))

Advance Auto or Auto Zone here I come. :)

I like the Fram Freshbreeze filter from Walmart. It is preloaded with baking soda and activated charcoal. Reasonably priced too.
