Perhaps I missed this but I cannot find these answers... If I purchase a NEW Prius in California but I live in Arizona, what is the Emissions warranty? Is it Californias extended warranty or just Arizona's warranty? Now I know the Prime is not available as a used car YET... If I purchase in Arizona a USED Prius originally sold in California what is the Emissions warranty? Is it Californias extended warranty or just Arizona's warranty? Thanks!
To get the CARB warranty, you appear to need just two things: The car must be originally purchased in a CARB state. The car must be currently registered in a CARB state. 4 decades ago when I lived in AZ, the police were vigilant about ticketing out of state plates if you worked in state.
