Hey I have searched the forums but haven't found an answer to this : When I'm on a call and another call comes in, I can either reject the new call or answer it by putting the active call in "call waiting " mode. I wonder if there is a way to answer the new call and disconnect the current one. this is what currently happens: let's say I leave a message on someone's answering machine and get another call , I answer the new call but leave the other call (answering machine) running which is annoying cause it can last in a long empty message on that persons answering machine. Hope I made myself clear thanks for your help..
Never tried this in my iPhone but on a different phone it is a two step process. - answer the new call - put new call on hold and automatically go to old call - disconnect old call - go back to new call Well, that is four steps on a SonyEricsson... I disabled call waiting on the SIM in the iPhone so I can't say how it works there. Usually I have this when somebody missed my call, and while I leave them a voicemail they try to call me back.
