Prime pending Cusco 【1A1 474 L】Adjustable Rear Upper Arm -Toyota Prius
In pictures of the rear suspension there a flanged bolt with increments around the circumference: Some adjustment?
@bwilson4web has already experienced the Toyota non adjustable rear camber problem shortly after he got his Plus home. Rears sit on the inside edge a little to much. Some where in his Prime in my hands thread I think. Cusco part looks like something that could be fabed from the OEM part if it works. All of them are pricey.
Old school, I used metal shims: -1.5 deg - 1/64 on driver side rear -1.2 deg - 1/32 on passenger side rear specs: -1.7 to -0.2 degrees I'm happy but I appreciate the eccentric cam approach because it means not having to blackout 2 of 4 hub mount bolts by the width of the shim. Current mileage 8800 mi and sad to say, I let Toyota do their 10k service. My proof will be tread depth in another year. Bob Wilson
@Mendel Leisk Bolt #9 Rear lower control arm to frame has a cam for adjusting toe so says the parts descriptions online. Is this the one you seen a picture of? Aftermarket parts all adjust at the knuckle, upper or lower. Trailing arm is such a pain. Just watched on youtube a kid do his Honda multi link with all aftermarket turnbuckle rods and bushings. Bolt right in place of the OEM parts and so easy to adjust.
@Mendel Leisk Yeah that's cam bolt #9. Washer on the nut side looks to be cam'd 180 from the bolt head cam for toe adjustment. Looks bigger in person than on paper.
