Hey guys, I have no knowledge about roof racks and j was looking for some suggestions and advice. I’m mainly looking for a roof rack to hold my snowboard and skis for winter trips. Is there any aftermarket racks that could do the job just fine for me? I don’t wanna spend an arm and a leg either so maybe something under $200.

I know this was posted last December, but in case you haven't bought any roof racks yet, I have and they are great. I bought them on ebay for under $60 and they are very sturdy. I use them with a cargo carrier on my 2007 Prius and have gone thousands of miles without any problems. Just make sure the roof width is not bigger than the size of racks. My roof was about 45" wide, so these fit well. I don't know if the 2001 is the same size as 2007.
