Dropped at toyota dealership to check out intermittent red triangle was told cause is brake light switch wich cost $670 but just doesn't sound right could one cause the other I have no issues with brake or brake light?
I would think almost anything could cause a red triangle system detecting any codes or BS could set a red tri.. wen you see red tri dealer sposed to scan car to find problem . I think that’s why you not sposed to see red tri and replace hybrid battery . Could be a switch out . Or some other component. Shoot I’d take my spare cars switch out for 650 ..
Did they tell you what the trouble code(s) was/were? If not, they should tell you, if you contact them and ask.
