Hi all. I want to know if I can swap a steering wheel from a 09-12 3G (not sure) and put it in my 2012 v. The wheel from the 3G has the same controls, audio, climate and voice activation. The only difference is that the 2 round cluster conrols on the 3G are arranged horizontally, and on the v they are arranged vertically. Maciek from Redline Goods bought the aforementioned 3G wheel core for me and will custom wrap it in leather. I have seen their work before and it is amazing. When the wheel gets here, I have to swap my airbag and wheel center over and swap the wheels/install the "new" wheel in my v. So, I have to hope 1) that although the layout of the buttons is slightly different, that the terminals are the same and all of the controls will work, or 2) that the mechanic can also swap the round control clusters from the v wheel onto the new 3G wheel. What say you?
