Some of you will have read my previous messages regarding my installing a Gen3 steering system (column and rack) to my project car. I've sorted out the immediate mechanical issues, but need to know how to get the car's CANbus (a Syvecs S12) to talk to the Prius' steering ECU via the CAN-Hi and CAN-Lo link. Specifically, I need to find out the format of the CAN messages regarding the vehicle speed (for the speed-related power-assist). I've just spent an hour trawling the internet trying to find the info, but with no luck - so, as ever, any help would be most appreciated!
