Cannot reset rear door child lock

    A couple of weeks ago, I set the rear child door lock after my son opened the door and failed to shut it after a fill up at the gas station.

    He has promised never to do this again. However, I cannot shift the child lock back to the regular setting.

    Any ideas?

    Did you try moving the outer and inner door handle while trying to move the lever for the child lock?
