Can't access the consumption screen

    I find I can no longer acess the Consumption screen on the MFD. The Energy screen looks OK but pressing the "Consumption" button does nothing. The audio and climate screens seem to be OK. The car is an early 2004. Is this a sign of more problems to come?

    That's a new one to me. What package is your car? Since you didn't mention it, I'm assuming that pressing the steering wheel info button doesn't toggle between Energy and Consumption.

    Does the MFD beep with you press the Concumption screen? That is, does it beep and not change or does it not beep and not change?

    This is a package No. 7, so no Navigation, no "info button"

    Yes. it was time to see the dealer. they have ordered a new display unit, I should have it in shortly. This morning I did get into the consumption screen but could not get back out of it. By the time I go to the dealer it seemed locked up.
