Can't remove blade key from 2015 Prius C 2

    Came back from driving around all day, parked the car, put it in park, but the blade key won't come out, and I can't turn the car all the way off. Any suggestions?

    I'm concerned that if I leave the key in, with the car not totally off, the 12v battery will drain quickly.

    Any suggestions?

    Have you tried turning the steering wheels some degrees, and see if the key comes out?

    Yes, and the steering wheel doesn't lock like it normally does. Seems connected?

    is the gear locked in place? try rocking the car back and forth, jimmy the gear handle and try again.
