I'm having a strange issue. I have a 2G prius and I parked it a few weeks ago and went to start it and the 12V battery was dead. I charged it and a weird this is happening. I press Start and everything lights up as it's supposed to except the car in not in P or any other position. In fact the selection box that indicates which gear is selected is gone. After a few seconds the selection boxes (rectangles) will flash on all gears: P,R,N,B,D In addition the main display doesn't show any bars on the main battery. Any idea what could be wrong? Is it a fuse or something more serious. The strange this is that the car ran fine just a few weeks ago. Please let me know if you have any suggestion. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks JW
Are you pressing the car's brake pedal? When you metion 2G do you mean the Classic Prius or the hatchback Prius?
