Car wash: Removing all undercarriage plastic and using undercarriage washer

Hey everyone. I live in the rust belt and noticed theres a tone of aerodynamic covers under the car. I know its safe to remove and wash the car, but my neighbour has a 5th Rav4 that has the issue with water collection on one of the high voltage plugs. Anyone know if our 5th gen has any issues before I try this on a warm day on my new prius?
