This has probably been talked about, but I'm a new owner....less than a week Car wash - we have a year's membership to a full service car wash..... You pull the car up, put it in park and get out....the attendant drives it a few feet up and puts it in neutral, no brakes.....the car comes out the other side, where it is dried off by hand.... Anyone see a problem with the Prius? Just let them put it in neutral as with any other car? Also, can you have these cars in neutral and turn the power off? And the car will still move inhibited? Thanks in advance.....
Ok, 2 very good points....that's exactly what I needed to know.... They wash 1000's of cars and I'm sure a Prius is not new to them...but still I need to know, ultimately I'm responsible....
I had the same concerns you have when we were deciding whether or not to take our "v" to the car wash...first time spoke with the attendent...he stated "leave the key in the car and put it in PARK, they will handle it" Never had a problem...
