I got a question for Prius 2 owners. I have a 2013 model, and I just saw a video on Youtube of a guy taking out a rear mat out of is car, and it's the same grayish color of the interior. I think I got ripped off then, because my wife's car didn't come with any mat in the rear of the hatch area, only thing exposed is the hard fuzzy deck cover, even my old 05 has a rear mat. We bought the car new a year and a half ago. Can't believe we missed that, unless it was an option, but it doesn't seem like it should be?
i thought the rear mat came with the floor mats, which are an option, believe it or not. mine was around $250. you can get some nice aftermarket mats at the pc shoppe.
Thanks, I'm not sure what it has for mats, I'll have to look when she gets home from work. Can't believe we bought a car without mats.lol
Just buy a digitally fit cargo plastic mat from Husky and be done with it, way better than the cheap rug from Toyota! Also, a lot cheaper than WeatherTech I might add.
It's personal preference but for a cargo area, I do prefer a liner or rubberized mat. I bought a Weathertech digital fit liner and it is nice. But they are expensive. I do hear the Husky ones are nice. If you are a DIY person, you can even go to your local "Home Depot" and buy various materials that can be "made" into a cargo mat. And No, unfortunately "Mats" don't automatically come with vehicles anymore.
