Had the cat stolen from my 2010 3rd Gen Prius. The coolant line got cut so I had to have that replaced as well, which seems to be common. But now my car won't blow hot air. From what I've read it could have to do with the coolant. Any advice?

Who did you cat? Did you/they install OEM or aftermarket direct-fit ? OEM Cat assy heat exchanger must be prefilled with coolant before installation, if not.., heat may not work properly for some period of time due to gigantic air bubble in the heat exchanger, not to mention your water pump may fail shortly after.

Thanks, local muffler shop did it. Pretty certain it's not oem as they did the cat first and told me the coolant line was ok. It was not ok. Then they ordered a new part to replace the coolant line.

What’s the miles on it? Could well be the CAT work, but good to consider all factors.
