catalytic converter cleaning treatments

    Has anyone on the list ever tried any catalytic converter cleaning treatments like Cataclean, Oxicat or similar cleaners to clear the CEL codes relating to the converter or O2 sensor codes? Any success temporary or otherwise?

    I haven't and I wouldn't.

    Although this was a LONG time ago, it seems like I remember an early product like that causing a cat to overheat and catch fire.
