I bought my 2010 with what the previous owner told me was a CD stuck in the unit. (I have the GPS head unit with the folding display and I believe a four CD changer.)

Well, I took the thing out today and I can't find any CD stuck in it. It was difficult to see inside and I couldn't find a way to take it apart (without ruining it). It says it has no CDs in any of the four slots, and when I stick a CD into the slot it pulls it in but then immediately pushes it back out.

I almost started tearing it apart, thinking that if I broke it I could find another on ebay, but fortunately I looked first - the cheapest used factory unit on ebay is $300! So I put it back in and decided to discuss with the experts (you guys).

The navigation, backup camera, and radio work fine, but the bluetooth has trouble with every device I own, and the aux jack won't work with my phone either. (I think my phone thinks it needs a preamp but the car already has one, or vice versa, because the sound comes through but is terribly distorted and the speaker on my phone still plays.) So the only option I have is radio. I'd love it if someone had a suggestion about getting literally any one of my options working.

So what's the numbers of the unit that you're trying to play in the car Toyota what this is a JBL solar roof loaded car like mine? I don't know all the options for this car every year and all that stuff folding down stereo display while I don't have that so your past what I have I have the JBL I think it's a changer. But mine works I think the Bluetooth works but we don't use it we don't usually pass up a cord to feed audio to a device whether it be fiber optic cable or 3.5 mini cable I rarely Bluetooth audio from my phone to my car stereo I usually use the auxiliary plug I'm not sure about terrible sound and my phone thinking I need a preamp I'm not sure about all that My phone is much cheaper than phones all of you are using believe me and it works just fine and I don't have any audio problems. So I'm not sure what stereo you have or what exactly you have going on or what phone you're using none of that information is here.
