So I finally got around to changing the dingy center console fabric. I took a very frugal approach and used a pair of old Levi's, hope it holds up well. I do not know how I feel about looks but it's better than that dingy thin oem fabric. Reminiscent of the AMC that had full out Levi's upholstery? Lol
Toyota did kind of go cheap in that area. My center console is looking ratty, and I've worn a shiny thin spot on the drivers side ledge. I'm living with it now, but someday might motivate myself to do something about it. I think it looks good. Oddly the denim , gives it a unique look. Doesn't match...but .....I like it.
Thanks! I thought about going out and actually looking at different durable fabrics, but decided this may look decent and be fairly durable
I love it! I needed padding on my armrest so I added 1" foam plus a faux leather cover. Its not as clean as I'd hoped but the foam made it tricky. It is awesomely comfy though Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
