Central locking won’t lock doors, but then will?

Hi guys,

the car doors won’t lock when leaving car. But then if I go away for a couple of hours and then they will work as normal. But as soon as I put the key in ignition and start car. Take key back out it won’t lock again.

• no button under steering wheel to turn off and on
• changed battery on key fob
• Reprogrammed key fob
  • Open doors x 2 and key ignition x2 and repeat. Locks did the sequence to say at the end it worked
• Replaced car battery.

Maybe replace key fob completely or go see an auto electrician to fix sensor?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
