I own a 2007 Toyota Prius. How do I change the Outside Temperature indicator to read in degrees C instead of degrees F?
Someone please explain why I can change to kilometers per hour on the odometer, but I cannot change from °F to °C for temperature. The US System of Measurement, by federal law (1862, 1975, 1988 and subsequent acts) clearly states that SI ("metric") is the preferred and legal system of measurement for all US trade and commerce. Interesting how dealers have a distinct bias against SI vehicles imported from Canada. Excluding the odometer, most domestic and "foreign" vehicles today are built to SI standards. So, Toyota, what is up?
