I've had my 2010 Prius II for about a month now. I take the same 10 mile route to/from work each day and drive exclusively in Eco mode. For the last two days I've noticed what feels like a drop in power. It's as if I have to push the gas pedal farther down to achieve the same throttle as last week. It seems like I'm flooring it more -- something I've rarely had to do on my commute. Also, on the HSI it seems like I'm in the PWR range more often. One possibility is that I filled up with gas for the first time this week. (Regular with ethanol from an Exxon station.) I've read ethanol can impact fuel economy, but would the car "feel" different? I have no idea what the dealer used. Any thoughts? Maybe I'm just imagining things? I'm enjoying the car so far. I dread the thought of having to take it in for service so soon! Thanks.
Tire psi checked? Are you eating more lately? Kidding, just drive in normal mode and voila, all normal. You can run the AC at the lowest fan setting and its' like being on eco mode.
