I have a 2013 prius plug in base with manual seats, found a set of leather seats with power out of a 2012 prius. All the plugs under the seat match in shape but the power seat does not work. The fuse under dash is intact. Wondering if someone has any ideas for me to be able to power up the seat???? The heated seat option is working fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
You need a multi-meter at a minimum. Check for power at the fuse first. A wiring diagram would help too.
Ur Prii does not have the wiring from the BCM to the seat harness......the dude is there but that's it. U either need to find wires with the correct terminals or run ur own wires from the battery to ur seat VS980 4G ?
I’m having the same issue. I ran a fuse tap and a ground wire to the third connector on power seat. Ground to green and if I go to white with black stripe, the seat gets hot from seat heater. If I attach power to white wire on the third connector with ground on green, the seat cushion would lower. I’m not able to get any of the other switches to work. Any ideas???
