Hello, I have read that the volume of wireless buzzer warnings can be customized. There are eight volume levels: Level7, Level6.........Level0. The factory default is Level7. It appears that the highest volume, Level7, is the default. Does this make any sense? Defaulting to the highest volume would mean that the volume could never be raised for someone, like myself, with poor hearing. Level0 wouldn't be the highest setting, I would think. Curious if anyone has any thoughts on this. Thanks.
You need to find someone with the Toyota Techstream software and Mongoose ISO/CAN cable to adjust the features that is built in the car, or you can take it to the dealer and hope they don't bend you over dry.
Dealer says that the volume cannot be raised or the tone changed. Evidently, the volume can be lowered which really helps people that have a hearing loss.
