    On a side note, I didn't realize (according to Bjorn) MB has a huge upper buffer. Maybe they'll open that up someday and not be lugging around a larger buffer that can't be used for travel

    Years ago (~2015) when I leased a Leaf while waiting for the M3 to be released I test drove a few cars including a MB.
    At the time you could pay extra to get access to some of that upper buffer. I think you could only use it some percentage of the time when you charged or it would not allow it.
