Charging door protection?

    The charging door gets opened and closed several times a day, any good way to protect the paint? I can imagine after a year or three it can become quite marred from skin oils. etc.

    doesn't it have a protected push area? the pip does.

    No. Just the same paint as the rest of the car. One could put some applique over where you push in, I suppose.

    I put on surgical gloves each time I open or close it.

    that's too bad, mine has a nice metallic plug logo to push on. i suppose that saved them a penny per car.:rolleyes:

    To save money, I cut the 5 fingers off a surgical glove and use one each time to open the door.
