I've been noticing my 12 plug in seems to take less time to charge. Today it took an 1 hour 45 minutes to charge from almost empty. What gives?
It's possible you're experiencing capacity loss, as that is one of The Tell-Tale symptoms. If you lose one or more kWh's of capacity - that can be represented by roughly 20 minutes of charge time - presuming you are charging at 3.6kW's from the wall. .
is this all of a sudden? i have lost 15-20%, but slowly, over 7 years, best to measure with a kil-o-watt meter or other. but another good test is to drive in on back roads in ev, starting with a full charge until the engine starts, see how many miles you get.
