check engine sign problem

    Hi all I don't know what happens to my car . I was fill gasoline by today since it left only 1 icon that it mean almost finish and after few hours when I start my engine it has been shown the check engine icon. I'm not sure this cause from above reason or not
    Please help share all experience

    You probably need to tighten the gas cap, then drive for a while and hopefully the light will go out.

    ditto^^^ and if the cap isn't loose, might you have overfilled the tank?

    Tighten gas cap until you hear ONE click. Not necessary to tighten beyond one click.

    I believe there is a replaceable seal on the gas cap as well. This may be another solution.
