Is this code the kiss of death (battery replacement) or could it possibly be a wiring issue... or something else?
I've seen some mention of possible wiring harness issues but nothing definitively.

2010 Prius 250K miles. Driving on gas only now - No EV. What should I check first.. visually or otherwise.

    Thanks.

Start your diagnostics by using the Dr Prius app. You will need to buy a Bluetooth OBD2 device to use with the app. Visit the Dr Prius website for more information. You can use the app to look at the voltage readings of the 14 battery blocks in the HV battery. Block #1 corresponds with voltage sensor A.

Edit: Below is a link to a thread in this forum where the OP just purchased a $14 obd2 device to use with the Dr Prius app and posted a screenshot of their readings.https://priuschat.com/index.php?threads/242877/
