It had so many problems the solution was to reprogam it to fire on all 8 cylinders all the time. Hope this generation actually works.

    Its been on some GM v8's for a few years. Seems to work this time. Its usually a better idea just to stick a 6cyl in the same car. You get lower weight , better mpg, lower price , a better balanced engine for the trade off of a slightly slower car.

    Would be nice to see it on more 6cyl engines.
