Months after Toyota's recall is swift?

 

Two things that annoy me.

1. The ignorance of many people. The pedal was manufactured here in North America, not in Japan.

2. And if Chrysler and other manufacturers knew and used the same pedals, how come they waited so long to issue the recall? If anything, Chrysler's slower response to the recall is worse than Toyota.

 

They used the same manufacturer. That doesn't mean they used the same pedals. See article.
