We had the meet today. All went well. Here is a pic. The complete write up is here. It starts on page 2 post #12
Would you' all be interested in helping coordinate my annual: Georgetown Toyota Plant Tour Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 Ordinarily I just coordinate the meeting with the plant visitor's center; collect the names; and make sure everyone knows when and where to meet. But I'm in Huntsville AL and arranging for things like: picnic/dinners other technical or group activities affordable housing Handling these local logistics are difficult for me from Huntsville. What I'd like to propose is your team discuss what makes sense for that weekend. Together we'll coordinate making sure the list of users are known so we can plan non-plant activities. I'll share my Toyota Plant point of contact so if something bad happens to me, it goes on without a hitch. Send me a PM and we can work out the details. Better still, if you'll let me know when you'd like to 'conference call,' we can do a kick-off meeting at a time we all agree. A team effort works best when the team communicates. Thanks, Bob Wilson
Hi Bob, I will ask everybody, but I'm sure it will be a yes. I have a wedding to attend to this weekend, so I will PM you after that.
I would like to join your next event, but I'll be out of town July 5th. Is there a way I could be informed of future gatherings?
Hi Aaron-- We typically have a meeting about once every four to six weeks. I'll be sure to post any updates to the meeting and any future meetups. I expect our next one will be about August 2, perhaps August 9 if there's no major disaster? It's too far down the road to say what exact date, but it's certainly in the pipeline.
