    Ok.. so.. i don't ever recall hearing about this. sure.. ideas.. and mods that i've seen. But i never thought toyota would post a page saying it may just be a viable option?

    btw.. this is what happens when you have too much time on your hands.. you read an entire companies webpage.. obsesses?.. uh... uh.. no? :rolleyes:

    if I'm not mistaken at last year's tokyo auto show Toyota had a plugin hybrid that was capable of running a house in just this way. These would be VERY big sellers in the south east!

    I can just see it in the not too distant future . . . a big burley construction worker driving up to the worksite and upon hopping out of his brand new 2008 Prius - hearing his co-workers say, "Damn it Jim, you were supposed to bring the generator today." :lol:

    Ahh, yes that's the site I had in mind when I saw the title.

    Edit: Ya know, it's been a while since i went to hybridsynergydrive.com and a lot more has been added. I've downloaded and printed the entire pdf already!
