cleaning air condtioning filter

I just clean mine with my air compressor, just blow air through it to remove any dust or other particles. Works fine.

 

Clean my air conditioning (cabin) filter in the sink with dish washing liquid
Clean my engine air filter (K&N) almost the same way, spay on soap then water, air dry both...(not compressed air)

 

I spray this stuff on the filter itself. Enhances the dust capturing ability of the filter.Works really good and has a nice citrus scent. I use it on my home ac filters too.

Vacuuming it works fine also. In any case be careful not to re-install it upside down.
