I replaced my cluster with a refurbished one off eBay now my gear indicator is flashing and I have no speedometer. I found a video of someone with the same problem but they didn’t post a solution. It’s a 2006.

Okay this is your car you're doing this work you must know it well are you sure you have the right cluster for your dash they'll both plug up but they don't have the same things in the same spaces like the miles per hour number section the gear shift is to the different side of that or something I have to go and find my old display to look at it but it's not the same as mid 06 up or something All I'm asking is if you have the same display everything is in the same place it is or was as your other original? If so maybe the rebuilder on eBay didn't do such a good job I don't know You would have to take the circuit board out and have a good look at it but probably just best to call the seller and go that route It's normal for like the gas gauge to flash or something like that for a few minutes while it gets squared away but you don't even have a display for the speedometer and that doesn't seem like that would be good I did this before I put the '05- and an '09 car and had a similar situation I can't remember I didn't film it but it did act up and if I knew it wasn't right up from the get-go so we just tried it anyway since we had it out and you know we changed the whole dash top when we do this We don't take the instrument cluster and unscrew it from the dash top and move it to the other one and so on and so forth We just changed the whole piece unless it's a navigation car then we may have to move just the cluster over because it's got some other sensors under there that are stuck under the dash pad but it might be easier to move them over usually I just get a cluster out of a gps car . But soon not anymore they're getting harder to find
