I received my box of new batteries from new batteries. I installed them today. Now when I start the car in my garage I am getting the large red triangle, and the check engine light. I still need to take the car out for a drive. But seems to be running fine in my garage.
I've no experience with the quirks of these stick module packs, but there's near 100 connections that have to be properly made when it comes to putting a battery pack back together so check and double check your work. Please, let us know what the error codes the red triangle created once you find out...
poly fine. as long as it runs, don't sweat it take it out for an italian tune up and let us know what happens
If you purchased from NewPriusBatteries.com | Home then I bet @2k1Toaster can offer some support Not sure driving it around would be a good idea at this point, at least until you can figure out whats wrong. No sense in damaging a new battery or ECU if it can be avoided. Look at the voltage sensing harness. Make sure nothing is backwards, check connections/connectors, etc. What kind of code reader do you have, as you may want to invest in a mini-vci with techstream. Lets also ping @TMR-JWAP as he may have some kind words to offer
UPDATE:: Well, after running some errands and fetching dinner. The red triangle and check engine light have both turned off. What a sight of relief. Thank you for everyone’s input.
